Why Team Health Matters More Now

The productivity promise of AI tools can mask deteriorating team health. A team might deliver 30% more features while experiencing rising anxiety, increasing cognitive load, and declining collaboration. These hidden costs eventually manifest as attrition, quality degradation, and burnout. Measuring team health proactively is the only way to catch these patterns before they become crises.

Core Health Indicators

1. AI Confidence Level

Definition: The team's self-reported confidence in their ability to use AI tools effectively and produce quality output.

Why it matters: Low confidence leads to either avoidance (under-utilizing AI) or blind trust (accepting AI output uncritically). Both are costly.

Measurement: Weekly anonymous pulse survey (1-5 scale)
